Monthly Counselling

...emotions are wonderful to feel with, not to live by... R.T.

Dear Students,
Here at LICU it is our aim to progressively enhance our vision and fulfil our programs in the best possible way. Therefore it is necessary from time to time to update and review certain aspects of our courses so that they grow with the needs of our students. In this context recently our Governing Board of directors has looked at the Monthly Counselling Form and updated its requirements as following:

With its emphasis on ″LifeStyle″ this University desires to ensure that each student is not only growing academically but also individually. To achieve this regular meetings between the students and counsellors are assigned. This is done in a relaxed manner without impingement to ensure that each individual student has someone to approach with personal needs, if necessary at any given time. Ensuring growth in every aspect of life and ministry helps each student to be properly prepared for their life in works of service!

Correspondence Students will be expected to have these meetings with their pastor or apostle. For any questions, please contact your LICU Office.

Our Policy Is

Male counsellors can only speak with male students and female counsellors with female students. It is important that we protect our reputation and
don′t give any opportunity to the accuser of the brethren.

Every Student has to fill out a Form

Record of these meetings will be kept on the applicable form, confirmed by the signature of the counsellor. The ′Monthly Counselling Form′ is also included within the Appendix of the Student′s Handbook. At the end of the year, no later than one week before the end of the last course meeting, students will be required to hand in their completed forms to the LICU Office (Correspondence Students are required to submit their form when registering for their final course syllabus). All these factors are important for the final evaluation of your result report!

Note: If you are the Senior Pastor of a church, you will not be required to fill out this form; however we believe that every minister needs to be accountable to someone (i.e. spiritual father) remembering that being fathered / pastored is not the same as being mentored. Therefore for those who are ordained ministers, pastoring a church or those who are in the five-fold ministry, please provide us with the information of the person that you are accountable to (name & address), which will serve as the fulfilment of this requirement.
