LICU OFFERS A VARIETY OF SEVEN ACADEMIC PROGRAMS, STARTING WITH PROGRAM 1 WHICH IS THE FOUNDATIONAL REQUIREMENT FOR EVERY STUDENT STUDYING AT LICU

Every student regardless of academic placement or ministerial experience needs to fulfil the ′Program One Courses′ as it is required to fulfil the foundations that all students need to receive. Exceptions are only for those that have satisfactorily fulfilled these courses in previous institutions (please see your Academic Assessment for further details).

Question: Is a Curriculum which offers; ″Foundation for Life″ really necessary?

Answer:″Yes!″ Nothing worthwhile is ever built without a solid foundation. How can we approach life any differently? At LICU you will find that our curriculum provides a strong foundation relevant to all, regardless of age, stage or gifting.

Hebrews 6:1-3 speaks of the vital importance of laying a right foundation in order to, ″move on!″ We are not going forwards to go backwards; we must reach higher ground, advanced levels of maturity (AMP) with Godly wisdom and insight relevant to our time in history. Today′s world is faced with incessant predicaments such as; aids, global warming, increasing natural catastrophes; rising gang violence and school shootings, the list is endless.

Not to mention the proverbial trigger of 9/11 that not only started a war but a whole new wave of global insecurity, renewed terrorism threats and political paranoia. In fact every time we turn on the news all we hear is chronic stories of tragedy. With all that considered; the introduction of the internet alone has managed to accelerate all kinds of lewd and base human interests, behaviour and perversions to an alarming rate. Not excluding the profound upsurge in paedophilia activity and human trafficking... What truth are we really going to present to a world like this, without a solid foundation that is able to stand up in the face of all and not buckle..?

How Do We Live In Such A Society?

Society is digressing in such a way that in today′s world if you want to do a successful publicity campaign you have to use shock tactics. It′s considered normal to do practically anything naked... Nothing else seems to gather public interest, except profanity, nudity and reams of gossip! So in the process of overcoming the lusts and temptations presented by our own flesh how are we truly going to stand for and present a truth to today′s society that is increasingly politically incorrect?! True liberty comes by the Word of God alone (John 8:32).

A Solid Foundation In Our Life

Therefore we want to be able to help you to have a solid foundation in your life. You must be relevant to the times you live in and a vehicle which reveals to the world around you, that the love of God and the shedding of His Blood is the answer that brings the forgiveness of sins. Salvation is a new beginning. But you must be overcoming in order to ″impact.″ God has planned for each one of us to be born for such a time as this and to become History Makers, to become vehicles of His Power and Grace.

We believe as you take on and study together with others, being involved with our many different programs/opportunities/projects etc; that you will be convinced of your position of son ship and the security of knowing the Father′s love. We put our confidence in the Holy Spirit who is able to lay a firm foundation of revelation within you; which He may use to impact and change many lives.
