OUR COURSE WORK REQUIREMENTS ARE DESIGNED TO SUIT ARE DESIGNED TO SUIT EACH STUDENT′S PERSONAL STUDY PACE
One course consists of 11 teaching lectures of 45 minutes each. Apart from attending (listening to) all lecture students are also required to read the assigned text books and fulfil any other course work as mentioned on the Course Syllabus page (or directed by the Instructor). At the end of each course there will be an exam and / or a paper which determines the student′s final grade. In addition students have the opportunity to hand in their personal notes of that course which will be accredited to them as a bonus and can serve to the improvement of their final grade (up to one letter grade, e.g.: an ′B′ becomes a ′B+′). Notes need to be typed up and double spaced and to be received by the office within one week of the last course meeting (correspondence students are requested to submit these notes along with the exam and / or research paper that will be returned by the exam proctor).
Graduate Students Requirements
Graduate level students attending undergraduate courses are required to fulfil additional course work in order to pass these courses.
Additional Course Work for Graduate Students in Undergraduate Courses:
• 200-250 extra pages reading (the syllabus already contains additional reading requirement details)
• Writing a 6-page Research Paper in relation to the course teaching (including other research of extra material such as the additional reading assignment)
Note: If undergraduate students are required to write a 6-page paper for this particular course, graduate level research paper needs to be 12 pages.
Course Work Deadlines
Students are required to finish all of their requirements (incl. Research Papers) within one week of the last course meeting* and hand in their ′Student Course Completion Affidavit′. Correspondence students′ complete course work needs to be received before final grades will be processed (please note that students may take 1 - 2 months to accomplish the required course work, at an average of 5-10 study hours a week. Students who fail to complete their course work within 8 weeks of the receipt of their course package will need to reapply for that course by paying a reapplication fee of 50 Euros.)

*Late Work Policy
Student′s who do not hand in their Course Completion Affidavit one week after the last course meeting will receive an ″I″ grade for ″Incomplete″. After two weeks of the last course meeting, the student′s ″I″ grade will turn into an ″F″ for ″Failed″ and you would be required to take this course again (including the payment of any fees and taking of exams and papers). There is a Change of Grade Fee of 10 EUR that needs to be paid to the Campus when you hand in your late Affidavit.
