YOUR FINAL UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES DEGREE

The fourth year is the year of specialization as students have the possibility of choosing one of 4 different tracks in regards to their specialized service in the local church or of a ministry position. All students will continue to study subjects relating to bible studies, as well as subject concentrations focused on the student's major field of study.

LICU offers Bachelor′s Degrees in the following fields of study:

Bachelor of Christian Theology
Bachelor of Arts in Christian Theology*

This track is designed for those who are looking to further their foundations in Christian Theology, as well as receiving practical help in regards to teaching and preaching the Word of God.

Bachelor of Pastoral Ministry
Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry*

This track is designed for those who are looking to specialize in areas related to Pastoral Ministry, covering various areas of subjects related to the pastoral ministry in the local church, as well as biblical studies of books in the bible relating to this area of ministry.

Bachelor of Christian Education
Bachelor of Science in Christian Education*

This track is designed for those who are looking to major on Christian Education, including various subjects of education in regards to the ministry of a teacher, covering teaching on psychological developments, as well as Christian Education & Philosophy.

Bachelor of Church Administration
Bachelor of Science in Church Administration*

This track is designed for those who are looking to advance their studies in Church Administration, learning about practical aspects involved in the responsibilities of a church administrator, such as administration and accountancy.

*To receive a degree of ′Arts′ or ′Science′, students have to fulfil (or transfer) at least 30 credit hours of general education.

In order to qualify for a Bachelor′s Degree, students have to complete a further 33 undergraduate credit hours following their Advanced Diploma level, thus accumulating a total of 123 undergraduate credit hours.

The credit hour requirement may be fulfilled by taking 9 courses (worth 3 credits each), fulfilling a Ministry Practicum within their local church by serving at least 80 hours (more information may be found in the Student′s Handbook) and submitting a Bachelor Thesis, worth 3 credits (for more information please refer to our Writing Requirements section or the Student′s Handbook).
