LICU offers Doctorate Degrees in the following fields of study:
The Doctor of Ministry Study Program is designed to complement the student′s active involvement in ministry and to give them fundamental life tools as well as challenge them to reach for their full potential that has been deposited into them. Each track incorporates syllabuses concentrated around that particular major.
Doctor of Ministry in Christian Theology
- with Major in Apostolic Teaching
- with Major in Endtime Teaching
Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Ministry
Definition: The Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree is, according to The Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada (ATS), a doctoral level degree oriented toward ministerial leadership often in an area of applied theology, such as missions, evangelism, church leadership, pastoral psychology or the psychology of religion, church growth, church administration, homiletics, or spiritual formation. The Doctor of Philosophy Study Program is a capstone to all previous academic degrees. It signifies not only that the student has proven a great commitment and yieldedness to the continuous study of the Word of God but also it represents the most prestigious accomplishment in a student′s educational endeavour.
Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Theology

Doctor of Philosophy in Pastoral Ministry
Doctor of Philosophy in Biblical Studies
In order to qualify for a Doctorate Degree, students have to complete a total of 45 post-graduate credit hours.
The credit hour requirement may be fulfilled by taking 5 courses (worth 3 credits each) and submitting a Doctoral Dissertation, worth 30 credits (for more information please refer to our Writing Requirements section or the Student′s Handbook).

The Doctor of Divinity is an Honorary Degree (honoris causa) that LICU is awarding to individuals in recognition of their life and ministry.
Definition: Doctor of Divinity (D.D. or DD, Divinitatis Doctor in Latin) is an advanced academic degree in divinity. Historically, it identified one who had been licensed by a university to teach Christian theology or related religious subjects. In more recent times a Doctor of Divinity degree is usually granted as an honorary doctorate upon a distinguished individual whose work has been connected with religion. [http://en.wikipedia.org]
